This degree meant so much to me. It meant proving to myself and others that it could be done regardless of the circumstances. I put behind me all the years of low self-esteem and of being told that I was worthless and never would amount to anything. I accepted the challenge! I made up my mind that I would complete my goal, and I did it!

It has been a long road as a single mother with three boys while my husband has been away working in Iraq-but I made it! I look back at my time spent at Hallmark Institute and I have so many fond memories.

I can remember a time when I had difficulty with a particular subject and I wanted to give up, but members of the networking faculty and staff worked with me and helped me until I understood the material. The quality of education and the dedication of the staff at Hallmark College have created a lasting impression upon me. I am armed with the tools to succeed. I believe that anything worth having is not always easy to obtain, but if you can dream it-you can achieve it. I am a prime example!

After nineteen years of working for a manufacturing company that closed its doors, I decided that I had to make a career change. I chose Hallmark College of Technology because the staff and faculty made a big impression on me when I first came to visit the campus.

The extraordinary instructors, administrators, and staff gave me the necessary tools and skills to be successful in a new career. The instructors and staff served as my mentors and guided me all the way. Hallmark College instilled in me the confidence that I needed to see the program to the end. It was my training and education that I received at Hallmark College that started me on my new career path as a Human Resource Report Specialist.

I am a single mother with a special needs child and I am happy that I decided to enroll at Hallmark College of Technology. I now have a professional position as an In-Take Specialist utilizing the valuable education and degree that I attained in less than a year at Hallmark College. My education has given me a strong foundation and made me marketable for the future. Hallmark College prepared me for a challenging and exciting future because of the valuable education that I received.

A special "thank you" to the faculty, staff, and administration of Hallmark College for preparing me for my new career in the business world. Most importantly, I wish to commend Hallmark Institute for their continued emotional support and understanding. This support gave me the motivation and stimulation to complete my degree. I could not have made it through my valued education without the family atmosphere that radiates at Hallmark College.

Hallmark College became my "home away from home" and became my "family". This was an opportunity to better myself by attending Hallmark College. My education has given me a chance to get that career I had been working toward. I built self confidence along with knowledge while attending Hallmark College. I learned how to work as a team member and to give support when it was needed. I had great days learning and other days I wondered: why did I do this?"

I watched students leave before me and new students come in after me, but now it is my time to shine. I earned my degree and I now have my position as Operations Program Assistant. I did a good job and I am proud of my accomplishments and my degree!

I chose Hallmark College of Technology because of its excellent Computer Network Systems Program. I realized I needed to become more marketable in order to find the job I wanted, even though I had previous military training and civilian work experience in the information technology field. With the support of my family and the great instructors at Hallmark College, I persevered and overcame my apprehensions. In the words of Booker T. Washington, "Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed."

I believe Hallmark College has given me a valuable education that will serve as a strong foundation in the years to come. In addition, I gained lasting friendships and the wonderful support of the most dedicated instructors and administrators. Hallmark has enabled me to obtain an excellent education and prepared me for a challenging and exciting future in the information technology field.

My school years and life were always rocky! I was a battered woman, in and out of women's shelters, but was determined to change my life in some way. I came to the front doors of Hallmark College of Technology where I was taken in as a tiny seed with no roots and developed from there. After entering the doors of Hallmark Institute and seeing the maroon cap and gown in orientation, I knew that my life could have a new meaning!

The staff and instructors I met that day proved to me that I would grow!

My goal was to strive for the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business Office Administration. The thing that I love about Hallmark College is that everyone there strives to make sure that the student succeeds. Therefore, the instructors and staff made sure that I grew every day. The instructors stayed after school to assist and to support my educational goals. It was the faculty and staff that gave me encouragement and knowledge throughout my time here. If I could give a bouquet of flowers to anyone, it would be given to the entire team at Hallmark Institute. Hallmark College of Technology opened a door to the future and I left my past behind me. Hallmark Institute did change my life by giving me superior skills and knowledge.

When I came to Hallmark College of Technology, I did not dream I would complete the Medical Assistant Program because I have leukemia. The instructors and staff gave so much of themselves to me. This is what sets Hallmark College above all other schools. Because their motto "Whatever It Takes" and "Attitude is Everything" was passed on to me, I started to look forward to coming to school.

My "oh well" attitude changed to "I want to do this." I made it a personal goal each day. I became eager to get the next chapter completed, wanting to work for more education and learning. I can smile again and life is wonderful for me. Thanks to Hallmark College of Technology for helping me do "Whatever It Takes" to complete my Medical Assistant Program.

I came to Hallmark College of Technology looking to obtain a degree to add to my previous experience and qualifications. As an "older student," I found the "never too late to learn" expression to be true. My experiences at Hallmark College were exciting and rewarding! I was constantly learning and meeting new people. The staff, instructors, and administrators were truly dedicated to helping me reach my goals. The instructors continually did "Whatever It Takes" to assist me in my education and career.

Every day I looked forward to coming to school because each day at Hallmark College of Technology was an investment in my future! I will leave my educational experience at Hallmark College with the knowledge that I was better prepared for success in my future endeavors.

Two years after graduating high school, I felt I had gotten as far as I could in my job without furthering my education. Although I wanted to attend college, I still had to maintain a family and pay bills. I needed something quick, flexible but reliable.

I heard about Hallmark College and how it was an accredited school, where you can earn actual degree in just one year. With my busy schedule and family at home, Hallmark College was a perfect fit for me. I began in October of 2008 and attended school full time. I even had time to still work in the evening to support my family. Along the way I met great teachers and made lots of new family like friends. Hallmark College not only provided me with a great education but prepared me as a professional to go out into the world and succeed in at all my goals.   

After graduating in December of 2009 with an Associates Degree in Business Office Administration, I had gained the confidence to go out in the work field and begin working. When I applied for my first job post college, there were seventy five other individuals applying for the same position as I was. Out of those nearly one hundred people, I was the most qualified because not only did I have my high school diploma but I also had an actual college degree. After being with that company for five months I was promoted to a higher position with better pay because I was fully prepared as a professional to take on any challenge.

Hallmark College has helped build the foundation to my career and has given me a competitive advantage in the work field! Hallmark College changed my life and it can change yours too!

Making the decision to go back to college was a difficult choice to make, but it turned out to be one of the most rewarding things I have done.  The education and training I received at Hallmark College has turned my life around to where I can see a light at the end of what was a long, dark tunnel.  For years, I was stuck in a job that was going nowhere and doing nothing fast.  Hallmark College changed all that.  The intense studies I received that focused on Active Directory along with the certifications that Hallmark trained me to pass opened up doorways in the IT field that I would have never gotten before. 

Within one month of my graduation, I received a job offer from a company with a great starting pay that included full medical, dental, and 401(k) benefits from day one on the job.  The job offer was from a company that is contracting with the U.S. Air Force, and today I am working as an IT Help Desk consultant to our men and women serving our country. 

The lessons I learned in Active Directory were a direct correlation to the system that I now work with on a daily basis; and without the training I received from Hallmark College, I wouldn’t have even known how to do basic troubleshooting.  I wouldn’t have even gotten the job offer without the certifications and degree I received because of Hallmark. 

All signs point to a doorway being opened soon that could lead me to a career with Civil Service, and there is no way I could have even seen that doorway without Hallmark College.  The future is technology, and the training at Hallmark College has made me a part of that future.
