School of Aeronautics
You can earn two Associates of Applied Science Degrees in just 15 months - one in Airframe Technology and one in Powerplant Technology. Hallmark College simulates an aviation workplace environment so students learn to become airframe and powerplant technicians in a well-equipped setting. The program at Hallmark College of Aeronautics allows students to utilize their acquired skills to diagnose, maintain and repair aircraft.
Through hands-on and classroom training, students will learn the proper tools and techniques required to become successful aircraft maintenance technicians. Our comprehensive Aviation Technology courses give students valuable time working with the equipment in a real-world setting.
This program is regulated and approved by the Federal Aviation Administration; the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board; and the Texas Veterans Commission, Veteran Education. We are active participants of the Aviation Technician Education Council (ATEC), an organization that works closely with the FAA and Part 147 Aviation Schools at improving any aspect of training.
Upon graduating, students will be qualified to take the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) A&P certification exam. Through our Test Incentive Program (TIP) students have the opportunity to earn vouchers that will cover the costs associated with the tests.
