Hallmark College History
Hallmark College was founded in 1969 as Hallmark Aero-Tech. Richard H. Fessler, co-founder, began the school with the primary purpose of serving students, industry, and the community.
The Federal Aviation Administration certified Hallmark as an Aviation Maintenance Technician School on September 18, 1969, and the doors were opened for eight students. The original campus was located at San Antonio’s historic Stinson Municipal Airport.
Richard H. Fessler became the school’s President in 1974. His leadership and commitment to quality education guided the school through the 70s and 80s with significant accomplishment.
